Weigh In...What color stain should we use on the floor?

After many setbacks, we have FINALLY started moving forward again on Joey's house. The floors have been sanded and are ready for stain. The problem is, I cannot decide on a color! I like it light, but I'm sure it would look good darker too. Maybe a maple color? What would you do? HELP!
